Back to blogging

So, I'm back to blogging. I hadn't realized that it had been forever and a year since I updated here....talk about neglect!! Trying to make a vow to keep up with it, AND being very adventurous and linking to Facebook (I think). Stay tuned to keep track of my technical frustrations, as I'm sure there will be many!!! If all goes well, I'll have new images posted soon!

Way fun and WAY funny

I had the great pleasure of meeting Miss Alli and her baby brother Sam. Can you believe this little guy is only four months old. We had a blast, well, I know I had a ton of fun. I think you can tell that Miss A. has some serious spunk, and apparently will put up with a lot for a bottle of bubbles and a lady bug.....her brother, giggles and grins, and some more of the same. So fun!!!

Don't you just want to squeeze him?? Alli on her path to everywhere (oh, and yellow and purple flowers) and by the way, don't EVER let her name your dog.
Wow, they were cute and sweet weren't they?? Now, imagine my surprise when I came home to this.......
Are you ready? I swear, I leave them alone with dad for 2 seconds, and you just NEVER know what's going to happen
Are you sure you're ready?? Ladies and Gentelman, my boys.....
Aren't they great?? Such angels. If you can, look closely at the artwork, doesn't look like the drawings of a 4 and 5 year old, does it??? That's because their DAD did this!!!! Notice that not an inch was spared, oh and in typical boy fashion.....they are sleeping this way as I type. After much begging, I let it stay. You're only 4 and 5 once, I guess. Was I mad.....c'mon.....look at that first picture.....they love mom.....how can you not love it???

Moral of the story.....never, never, EVER let my husband babysit!!

Sorry for stealing your scene Alli and Sam. Thanks for a great night, and I'll have the rest ready soon!

Holy Hot Engagements!!!

I can't begin to tell you how excited I am for their wedding in July! These two are adorable, and fun and willing to try anything. And not afraid to heat it up! We had a great time at this shoot. It was urban and creative and did I mention hot?? The bride to be and her fantastic eyes!
One of my new personal favorites ever. You all know I have an illness....who else gets excited about a weathered old piece of plywood on a boarded up window??

And the groom in a rare eye contact moment. L. and J. thanks for being good sports, a lot of creativity and a TON of laughs! See you in July!

More babies!!

So, after posting baby Mason, I remembered that I haven't shown off baby Bella. What was I thinking?? I could show her off for hours. It was tough to choose which one's to post. Sigh. Is it awful to be jealous of a baby?? I wish I could sleep this well! Oh, and awake.....look at those eyes when her big brothers were talking to her...
I just saw her again today, and the baby wrinkles here, they're nuthin!! Wait until I get ahold of her again, just wait! (I can't wait, can you tell?)
Can you guess what her daddy does?

Yep, that's a skateboard my friends. I think her dad teared up a little during this shot.....although, he'll deny it. Her mom and I saw it. He's a little smitten by his Daddy's girl!

Ahh, Miss Lexie is a big sister!

You may remember Miss Lexi from the tulip pictures...She's getting so grown up! And now she's a big sister. She was adorable (as always) and so excited to help me with her new baby brother Mason. She was achingly sweet with him. I've told her mom on many occasions that I SO wish I could clone her! And now, introducing Mason. All of a week old. SO sweet!
And so alert! Look at those eyes!
My fav of the new boy! Congratulations Lexi and family. He's a cutie, and he'll be fishing soon, no doubt!

Playing catch up....

So, with an updated look coming soon, I figured I had better make more of a commitment to keeping the blog updated....yeah, yeah....you've heard it before....I'm going to add a few at a time; trying not to overwhelm you!

First up. The Spring sessions. Yes, I know, from APRIL, but better late than never, right?

The day was much chillier (is that even a word?) than expected, but I still had a few families brave the cold weather. I'm thrilled that they did, aren't you??
My new cusotom art, by the way. Delicious on canvas....hint, hint.

Told you they were cute, didn't I?

She is a living Kewpie doll, isn't she?

Fun day at a great location

So I know the wait is killing their moms....and I know that they're checking here daily.

I had the great pleasure to work with Adrienne and Evan again. Bundles of Energy, and stinking cute doesn't even touch these kids. What's cuter than stinking cute??? I'm not sure, but these two qualify. We had a great Saturday on the campus of St. Louis University of all places. Fantastic family and great setting. Enjoy T and D, I should have the rest posted sooner than expected!
