This mom could tell stories about me...

Meet Max and Cecilia. Their mom and I have been friends since we were probably as old as these two. The old story of we lost touch in college, then found each other by accident last year...the chance to reconnect with one of the sweetest, pure hearted and downright nicest people I've ever known, made this photo shoot one of the highlights of my year...of course, as always...the cute kids stole the show!!

I'm pleased to introduce my newest client...

Meet Adam. For those of you who need a baby fix, take a look at this little guy. Not only is he perfectly beautiful, but he's the most laid back baby I've worked with in a long time. I'm sure if you scoot close enough to the monitor, you'll be able to smell that sweet newborn skin. *sigh* New little people always amaze me.

It won't be long and he'll be up there, Mr. Giraffe!
Thanks to his proud mom and dad for sharing him with me!

I love engagements!!

I always enjoy the excitement of engagements and weddings. Judging from their personalities, I think these two are going to have a fun, and gorgeous fall wedding next year! What an exciting (albeit hectic) time, and what a cute and fun loving couple!

They brought along their 4legged baby Dillon, who literally gave us a run for our money. By the way, nice save at the end there, Christopher!

What a great couple, what an exciting time!!

I know who the Olivia books are based on!

I'm sure of it. Meet Olivia. Her daddy says she's nonstop. She is, I saw it in action. I'm fairly sure that the Olivia from the books (you know, the cute little energetic pig? Written by Ian Falconer?) is based on this little girl. If you don't know the books, you should check them out; and when you do, keep this face in mind, because she told me she has a giraffe in her dining room, she knows tai chi, and she is funny as all get out. (and sweet, and adorable, and very loved)

Reese revisited....aka...bad to the bone biker baby

Well, when I did Reese's first shoot, her daddy's bike wasn't finished as promised (bad biker shop guys!). So when it was time to deliver her proofs, I just HAD to bring the camera. I HAD to, don't you agree?

What more can I say about that???

Great Pumpkin, anyone?

It's a little late, but I'm finally posting the results of my annual Portraits at the Pumpkin Patch. This year, I had many new faces, and lots of old friends. I'm sure you'll agree that even at 91 degrees, we had a great time at Rombachs. Look at these kiddos....you have to have fun with families like this!

Wow, we had a great day!! Thanks to all of the families that participated. I hope you enjoyed your pumpkin experience as much as I did!!

Tu Tu cute

Meet Miss Reese, and forgive my corniness; but she is tu tu cute.I'm thinking that she may have trouble finding a date to the prom someday, especially with a really tough (ahem...soft, but don't tell the boys)Harley dad. Look at her, she knows she's got him snookered!

She's cute, she's happy, and she's got style!

Above all, she is loved. Witness the Reese family ritual "The Family Kiss"

What a cool and creative family you guys are!

How could I go wrong?

Really, how could I? Take a look at these four kiddos and tell me how? I had to make myself stop posting at these four, because I'm afraid that I could've easily posted all of the family stuff here, too.
The baby with the biggest smiles ever, I think blue is her color!
The smile that grandpa just knew would come as soon as he saw the tractor (while sitting on his own tractor, I might add)
Hmmm, maybe this is the baby with the biggest smiles, ever. It must run in the family.

The most soulful eyes award goes to....

Thanks E and family, I can NOT wait for you to see the rest!

Check out these eyes!!

I can't believe it's already been a year! I've known Miss Anna since she was a newborn, and here she is, a blue eyed big girl. I'm a lucky girl, indeed to work with kiddo's (and families) as sweet as Anna! And no photo of Anna is complete with out her bunny...

And a beret for spunk! Oui, Oui!

Thanks for a great day Anna and family.

Class of '08

Meet Paige, my newest senior rep. This poor girl (and her mom) put up with my torture for a little over 2 hours!! I think it was time very well spent, don't you?

I really don't think she realizes that she's so beautiful. Look out world...she's got it all together...and she's graduating soon. Thanks Paige and Terri for a fantastic Saturday.

Makes me smile

Take a look at Ms. Francesca and try not to smile. Go ahead....
it's not possible is it? What a happy baby with such fun parents (and a cool house, too.) I hope she gets bigger closets, because the girl has a wardrobe any of us would envy.
Really, check her out!! Could you just eat her up?
Thanks Francesca for my Saturday morning smiles! What a way to start your day, your parents are blessed indeed!

Wash tub babies

Do you remember this baby? I know you do... We tried to revisit the tub on her second birthday, but it didn't quite fit...
Ahh, but sister Keeghan fit perfectly!!

Here's the birthday girl with her two best buddies. Is he a lucky guy or what?

Happy Birthday Miss Mia! I hope you had a great party!

We are family....

Today I had the pleasure of photographing one of the largest (and most color coded) groups that I have shot in a while. I want to thank Robin and the Vasquez family for inviting me to be a part of their first ever family reunion. Judging from the lingering crowd, I think all of the hard work paid off, and the party was a great success! I knew you would all want to see 150ish of you in one photo....so here it is!! I'll have the album and the rest of the images ready on Thursday.

Pumpkin Patch Date

Well, school is back in session, the weather should be cooling off, and my favorite season is approaching. Ahhh, fall, crisp cool mornings that turn to sunny warm afternoons, the brilliance of the colors of the changing leaves, and the anticipation of my favorite holiday...Halloween! There is no better place to be in the fall than the pumpkin patch! For the fourth year, I'm teaming up with the best pumpkin patch in St. Louis; Rombach's Pumpkin Farm. Join me on Saturday October 6th starting at 9:00 a.m. for Portraits at the Pumpkin Patch. Here are just a few examples of what to expect, courtesy of Noelle's Portrait Party last year...By the way, if you're interested in hosting a Pumpkin Portrait Party (also at Rombachs), call quick, I only have 2 dates available!

One of the great little vignettes you can expect see:
My favorite, pick your pumpkin, rural style:
And the traditional portraits in a pile o' pumpkins:
